HAPPY CAMPER. I found this place online price shopping. One of the better values for a hotel stay where the main goal is to dump my head in the pillow and wake up closer to "work". With regards to this place....there are no major frills beyond a clean, quiet room where stuff works. Don't expect 5 * amenities, they don't claim to have them either. Everything works. I have a microwave, and my fridge is huge and the ice tray had some buildup when I arrived (so it works). The room is quiet and I haven't heard anything from the outside that I should not. They have a courtyard where you can park. It seems pretty secure. If you just want to be comfortable and not have every luxury known to man, give this place a try. Great value!

Admittedly on the outside this place does have the potential for sketchiness, but the family that manages it works very hard to keep it clean and safe. I’ve stayed here several times over the past year and not had any complaints and actually quite enjoy the layout of the rooms, building, and proximity to the cities. Great value and looking forward to staying here again.

If you are realistic about what you are paying for (these are very affordable rooms), this is excellent value for your money. This is not a luxury hotel. It is an updated motel. The outside did give me pause. When I went to the front desk, the concierge was friendly, and it was obvious she takes pride in the work they are doing. In the room, it looks to have been recently remodeled - the materials used are a little on the cheap side, but maybe that is by design, if the rooms are constantly abused by guests, it's easier to replace cheaper materials. There was a mini-fridge and Direct-TV. There was not a hairdryer or an iron (I did not ask the front desk if they had them available upon request). The room did get a little humid (probably from the shower), and the windows do not open. All-in-all, I'm happy with my stay.

My friend and I had a nice stay at this hotel, typical updated decor, could use a few small area rugs for guest comfort, the bare floors are awful cold in winter. (would have loved to see some nice sophisticated Mid Century Modern decor to match the 1960s exterior architecture, but hey, thats just my taste) Loved the huge window. Area was quiet. The man at front desk was friendly, he let me know about the deposit upfront which I appreciated. Would stay again if in the area.

The staff was professional and welcoming. The rates are affordable and much lower than I expected. I definitely was impressed. They respected our privacy, our room was immaculately cleaned and charming. The owners have put a lot of money and time into this property. You can see they care about the comfort of their guest. I will always book a room at this establishment whenever I need a place to stay. My only desire would be to have frozen meals and ice cream novelties available for sale in the office or vending area.

Stayed here as part of an American experience trip where we were going to places uniquely American. This was our Motel stop. The Motel was particularly helpful as we were forced for various reasons to change our booking twice, each time they allowed the change of reservation without fees. The entrance to all rooms is made through a central lot that can only be reached by going through a road going under one part of the building. This provides a sense of being removed from the outside and does make the place feel somewhat safer than other Motels I have stayed at in the past. The rooms were quite inexpensive and very functional. They are also extremely basic. Do not expect any extras. The beds are very comfortable. The TV large and with a good range of channels. There was noise from the people upstairs who were doing I have no idea what. It sounded like they were building something with metal parts hitting the floor all night. Distracting but livable. The main downside is that they were not impeccably clean. The floor and bathroom had obviously had a quick once over. Found a couple hairs in the bathroom. No one had cleaned under the bed in months if not years. Thick dust and many items down there including trash and clothing articles. The location is very close to a highway and near commercial areas making it very convenient.

I just needed to stay for one night in the Quad Cities. I read the reviews, so I knew what to expect. The room itself was completely updated and remodeled, but the exterior of the buildings still need some work. However, the room was super clean and the beds were so comfortable - I slept the whole night through which I don't usually do in hotels. The room has a microwave and mini fridge, but it could use a coffee maker. Other than that, it was worth the bargain price.

Fantastic value! Booked through Priceline, and had a great rate. Stayed 2/27/23. For the price, I didn't expect much, but I was very pleasantly surprised. I've paid much more at other hotels, and had terrible experiences, but this place was great. Is it the Ritz-Carlton? No. But you're not paying Ritz-Carlton rates. The exterior is a bit dated, but everything I saw worked fine, and was well-kept. Easy access off the highway. I was going to be checking in very late, so I called ahead and the manager was very pleasant. My room had been remodeled within the last couple years, and had clean laminate floors, a very comfortable bed, a decent tv, a small fridge and microwave, and a nice bathroom. The sheets were very clean and nice, as were the towels. Hot water when I showered in the morning. It is clear the owners are working hard to make this a good place and keep it up, and they are succeeding. I've seen a few reviews complaining about a pet fee... But most hotels don't allow pets at all, and the ones that do, charge a fee for it. Because pets are messy, frequently noisy, and often require extra cleaning. This is a good place. If I am in town again, I will stay here.
